On Oct. 19, the conference will address workforce needs for Kansas. Recent research shows that Kansas employers are likely to need 34,000 more credentialed workers than the state will have by 2030.

A 2013 study by professors Donna Ginther and Shulamit Kahn found that women of color made up 2.3% of faculty who are on the tenure track and who are tenured nationwide.
