My M&P Pro shoots 124 grain with just slightly tighter groups. It's also easier to knock down steel targets with 124 or 147gr over 115. The heavier bullet will make a bit of difference. Also, felt recoil is different between bullet weights. 115gr can be snappy, while 147gr can be more of a push feeling.
