Spawn. Plantera will not spawn on her own, she is summoned by breaking a Plantera's Bulb in the Underground Jungle or the Giant Plantera Bulb found in the Vernal Pass mini-biome. If you're having trouble getting bulbs to spawn, maybe try creating a bunch of flat, horizontal tunnels through the jungle. Keeping the tunnels clear of weeds and plants seems to help as well. The Plantera bulb not spawning has been fixed, so you have to know that however . it spawns now is how it is supposed to. If it was a bug it would have been fixed in the patch. It wasn't a bug on the PC, the developers had. simply decided to make it more difficult to spawn and so had changed the conditions required .

I made an arena and dig tunnels connecting huge areas so when I find a bulb I can kite to the arena, however after around 15 kills, the bulbs never spawn anymore.
