I was wondering what area is the best place to build I’m currently lvl 32 and am looking to make a permanent base. I'd say the green north (north-west of the map) around new asgarth is a good general spot, but there are usually many bases already. Ressource rich, good thrall farm and you can get anywhere on foor relatively fast from there.Greetings All ! My friends and I originally played through Age of Sorcery on the Exiles Lands map. I will post a screenshot of an island which will make an excellent location for a first base. I usually start a base on an island near the center along the river. It's a decent sized island between two long ones. Just north of it is a large pond with a huge (minable rock) on the east side of it.Best Base Locations by Resources - TOP 7 - Conan Exiles. Easily my favorite spot outside the northern highlands. Near the Hand of the Maker is really good for single player. If you're concerned about resource spread, most of the North has high amounts of iron and coal.
