Ben tek can work if you take all the steps that beginners usually skip. Starting with spores going into the rice is the first and biggest mistake most make. At least test the syringe on agar first to check if it’s clean, even if your not going to use the agar transfer method.shake up the syringe. prime the needle so that there is solution in it, maybe a few drops come out. open the top of the agar dish. Make sure your hand does not pass over it the dish, only the syringe... Squirt only a few drops on the dish. Quickly cover the dish. Wrap the edges in micropore tape.
