New to this forum (and to Outbacks for that matter). I'm having an issue with my lighting. The rear combination lights (signal, tail, marker), license plate light and front side markers won't turn off after the car is turned off (key is removed from ignition). I checked the light switch and made sure it was off, but this didn't solve my problem.Press and hold the rear gate opener button. First, measure the resistance between those two wires. There should be continuity, probably above 5 or 10 Ohms, but not higher than say 15 or 20 Ohms. Go to start the car and the brake pedal is very hard to depress. Push the start button and car stumbles, but starts. Once in a while the pedal is soft (normal) and the car starts without stumbling.
