You have to unlock the Equip X Factor under the Offensive Coordinator Coach talent tree for Offensive X Factor Players and the same goes for Defensive X Factor players under the Defensive Coordinator talent treeve to activate (kudos to @iamReneGT for providing this information).I've also uninstalled and reinstalled, as well as unlinking my EA profile.
