All 5 top path upgrades find more use out of mid path, plus AoW from bottom. All 5 mid path upgrades heavily favor the use of bottom path. The remaining 4 upgrades for bottom path favor top path crosspathing. It's a 4-6-5 split, although two tier 5s prefer mid crosspath, which is more points in its favor. I guess you're right then.
