Leaking rear axle seal

We keep all the seals and parts in stock for the GTO rears if you need one. It's a very easy fix. You just have to take the axle and stub out (stub pops out with a screw driver) and then you just pry the old seal out with a screw driver (or seal puller) and push the new one back in evenly until it seats. To get to the seal though you need to remove the brake caliber, then remove the drive axle, remove the bearing nut and pull the hub. You will then find the seal which basically keeps the oil from leaking out at the back. Few buts:

Replacing the seals is easy. Pull everything down to the drums. Yank the differential cover and drain everything. I lift one side of the truck at a time to drain the oil out of the tubes. Wipe out everything. Yank the center pin and then yank the c-clips. Pull axles out without dragging in the tubes.If the seal is not sitting on the collar, it will cause the leak. If you have ABS, remove the ABS sensor on the side that's leaking and see if you can visually see the seal coming into contact with the collar.
