With 99 range/pegs crystal bow with crystal armor actually outperforms even blowpipe ammy darts at Mystics, Olm Head, but is much worse at tightrope and Muttadiles, 6.9DPS - 8.09 DPS for cbow/bp. They're both amazing, but the Bowfa even without the armor is a huge upgrade in a gulf of ranged alternatives. The only other competitor in your situation is your standard RCB/Crystal Bow/MSB (which are all roughly the same power) and then the Tbow.
